Content Gap Review

The gap between what your site says and what it sells.

Thirty minutes, paid, one to one. We go through your site together: what’s on it, how it reads, and whether it all adds up to the same thing. I read it before we talk, so you’re not paying me to skim your homepage while you wait.

The problem

You can’t read your own site like a stranger.

A content gap is the space between what someone needs to know and what your site actually tells them. Sometimes it’s a missing page. Usually it’s quieter than that. The homepage promises one thing, the services page describes something slightly different, and the blog reads like it came from another company.

You can’t catch this from the inside. You know what you meant. You remember why every page ended up the way it did, which client conversation shaped it, what you cut. Your reader gets none of that. They get the words on the screen and not much patience.

That’s the whole point of the call. Someone reads it the way your next client will, and tells you what they actually saw.

What you get

Prepared, not improvised.

Thirty minutes isn’t long. It’s plenty when the work is already done before the call starts.

01

A review before we talk

You send your site when you book. I go through it beforehand: the pages carrying the most weight, the copy on them, and the point where the story stops holding together.

02

Notes written in advance

I show up with actual notes, not first impressions. No dead air while I skim your homepage. The whole half hour goes to the conversation.

03

The call itself

I walk you through what I found. You ask questions, push back, tell me the things I had no way of knowing from the outside. That last part usually changes my advice, which is why this is a call and not a PDF.

04

A written recap

Within 48 hours you get a short write-up with the fixes ranked. Act on it yourself, hand it to a writer, or forward it to whoever signs off on the budget.

If we run a few minutes over, we run a few minutes over. There’s no meter and no overage fee.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

01

Book and pay

Pick a time and pay the $99 up front. The calendar opens 72 hours out. That’s the room I need to do the work before we speak.

02

Send the details

A short form at checkout: your site, the pages you care about, who you’re trying to reach, and what you already suspect isn’t working.

03

I review the site

Before the call, never during it. I read the pages, take notes, and build the list we’ll actually work from.

04

We talk, then you get the recap

Thirty minutes live. The write-up lands within 48 hours, ranked by what to fix first.

Fit

Worth your money, or not.

I’d rather turn down $99 than take it for something that won’t help you.

Book it if

This sounds like you
  • You have a live site with real content on it and you’re not sure it’s pulling its weight
  • You write your own copy and want to know where it’s falling short
  • You’re planning a redesign and want the words sorted before the design starts
  • You want a straight answer before committing to a bigger project
  • You’d rather pay for thirty focused minutes than sit through a free consultation

Skip it if

This is not the right service
  • Your site is brand new and still mostly placeholder copy. There’s nothing to review yet
  • You want a technical audit: crawl errors, site speed, backlinks. Different job, different person
  • You want the fixes written on the call. This is a review, not a writing session
  • You’re expecting a sales pitch you can politely turn down. This is the whole service, not a lead-in to one

Hire me within 30 days and the $99 comes off your first invoice.

The review is built to stand on its own, whether or not we ever work together again. But if it turns into something ongoing, you’re not paying twice for the same half hour.

Questions

Before you book.

What do you actually look at?

Your published words: homepage, service pages, the blog posts that matter, and anything else you point me at. What is each page trying to do, does the writing actually do it, and do the pages agree with each other.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Just the booking form. If there’s a particular page that’s been nagging at you, say so there and I’ll start with it.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours out. Inside 48 hours it’s non-refundable, because the prep is already done by then, but you can reschedule once at no charge.

Is this a technical SEO audit?

No. This is about the words. If your actual problem is crawl errors, site speed, or backlinks, you need a technical audit, and I’ll tell you that on the call rather than take your money for the wrong thing.

What happens after the call?

You get the write-up within 48 hours and the list is yours to run with. If you’d rather I write the fixes myself, we can talk about ongoing work, and the $99 comes off your first invoice.

How does payment work?

In full at booking, through Stripe. The receipt and the calendar invite both land in your inbox right away.

Send me a note first. I’ll tell you honestly whether the review is worth your money.
